Everyone knows journals are a great way of recording experiences, conversations and so on, but did you know you can also use them in a group? Here are a couple of ideas as to how they could be used:
- Have a night of ‘journaling’ – print out a number of examples of artwork, quotes etc. from which people can draw inspiration or even paste directly into their books. Discuss what has been done and why at the end.
- Set a challenge to keep a daily journal for, say, a month on a particular topic, for instance listening to God for prophetic words and writing down everything you hear. At the end of the month have a night of sharing.
A journal is a fantastic tool for keeping you consistent and on track with doing something. Using them in a group may just encourage people to get started on their own too.
