Glo Church

Glo Church is in Offerton, the community next to Marple. All Saints were commissioned by the Bishop of Stockport to start Glo Church in March 2011. Since then Glo Church has offered faith, hope and love to Offerton: faith in God’s love shown through Jesus, hope for those who are lost and lonely, and love for the broken and busted. Have a look at the video above to see how.

3.30pm Sunday Service

Glo Church meets to worship on a Sunday afternoon. They do what any church does: sing songs, read the bible, pray, listen to a short talk, and discuss. Church usually finishes by around 5.00pm. We gather at Offerton Community Centre.

Glo Central

Glo Central is the old parish centre that now runs as a friendly space in Offerton to hang out, chat, get some practical help or get much needed things from the Garage. Just drop in from 10am-12pm Monday-Thursday or come along in the afternoon or evening for something more planned:

  • Glo Youth (Tuesday evening) – Hang out, play X-Box, learn about Jesus… Y7-9 5-6.30pm or Y10+ 7-8pm.
  • The Young Mum’s Way (Wednesday 1-2.30pm) – A group for mums under 21.
  • Homework Clubs (Thursday 4-5.30pm) – Get help, use the internet or print at Glo Central.
