“Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to you to hide me. Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward    on a firm footing.” – Psalm 143:8-10

When we realise we have and can rely on God’s “unfailing love” the next natural course of action for us is to be obedient to Him, to follow His way.

It is good to remind ourselves of God’s love for us at the start of each day. As David says, “Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning…” When we do that we will seek to follow Him in our daily lives, whether that is in the home, at the school gate, in the office or the classroom, at the shop or on the factory floor. Wherever our lives take us today let us go in the full knowledge that our heavenly Father loves us and cares about us and let us ask Him to teach us and enable us to do His will.
